Units of Work reflect the schools vision for Learning and Teaching, as well as the Vision for Religious Education as outlined in the Brisbane Catholic Education Curriculum. Teachers are aware of the demographics of the religious backgrounds of their students and regularly update information to assist them in the planning process. Teachers reflect on their learners and ensure that the context of their class is reflected in the planning of their units. We seek to engage students in the critical, creative and responsible use of a variety of digital tools which is an important component of digital citizenship. |

A Grade Level Scope and Sequence that reflects the needs of the learners and all the curriculum expectations. This document is reviewed and modified on a yearly basis. Teachers are engaged in planning with the APRE and/or RE Team members. Communication to parents and the wider community about what is happening in Religious Education is uploaded on to the School Website and Weebly link. The School’s commitment to DELT, ensures that all teachers plan their units of work using Learning Intentions and Success Criteria. |

Teachers ensuring that the class context in planning documents represent the demographics of the students in their class. Reflection and evaluation of units of work are done regularly by teachers to assist in future planning and to ensure that students are being catered for Units of work showcase a variety of activities that allow for differentiation of both process and product. At standard and above expectations for student learning is evident in the Planning Template that is used by teachers. Students engage in a reflection opportunities during the learning process and evaluate their work using the strategy of “Two Stars and a Wish”. |
